An Email I Received
I've been remiss in checking emails lately after all the issues I have had in recent months, lol. So tonight after getting the boy sent back to college, I sat down in the recliner with the laptop to check the 4 (that's right four) email accounts I now have. I started with the oldest one and only 4 emails into it, I read this one. I had to share it with you. Remember this is YOUR Stamping Cottage. Thank you for the success you have made our shop. Enjoy this email:
Hey Ramona! It was so good to see you last week! I have to share this with you: On the way home from our store, I got to thinking abou how much I'd spent. $80! OMG! I couldn't believe I'd spent that much! It really bothered me. Until I got home and emptied out my bags. I bought a total of 14 stamps (actually 16 because there was a set of 3 together). Out of all those stamps, only 4 were used, or at least looked used. The rest looked brand new. I got to thinking about what I bought and realized that, for $80, I did darn good! I got 14 stamps, a stamp pad, some tags and a couple sheets of paper. And 2/3 of those stamps were NEW! I couldn't have bought that many stamps anywhere else without paying at least twice as much! Yippee for me! Sigh, now the only problem is I'm running out of room in my craft room to store everything. (What a terrible problem to have : ) ) Take care! Karen

New Name and Vacation!
The shop will be closed July 23rd through July 30th for vacation. Please make a note of it so you won't be surprised if you come down to the shop!
Over the next several months you will see changes at C-Shore Creations, inc. We are extremely excited about these changes and hope that you will be as well. The past year has been awesome and has had a learning curve, lol. I have said all along that this is YOUR shop. Let me know what you would like and I would do my best to create it for you.
With that being said...as of today I have filed papers with the Secretary of State and C-Shore Creations, inc. will now be doing business as "Your Stamping Cottage"! We are excited about this as it will tell people what we do. The shop is "Your"s! We have a lot of fun "Stamping"! And we are in a "Cottage"! What better name. We will continue to have scrapbooking classes and items, as well as other mixed media. But the name will better describe what we are.
We are in the process of building a new website that will link to the blog. And as we have been doing for the past several months, we are trying to get the kinks worked out of the email problems. So join us as we celebrate this new chapter in our journey through creating!

COPIC TECHNIQUE CLASS
Happy Wednesday! (did I tell you I hate email, lol) Tell everyone you know that you can check the blog to keep up with the goings on at C-Shore Creations, inc. Tomorrow night is our Copic 1 class being taught by our certified Copic instructor, Lisa Henke. This is a Great class. In the first 10 minutes I learned more than I did when I took the class several years ago by someone who was not certified.
If you are thinking of diving into the expensive world of Copic Markers, then this class is for you. You do not need to bring anything with you. Lisa and I will have our markers there for you to use. If you have already purchased Copics, please bring them. Class is at 6:30 and is $25.00. There is one opening left. Call today to sign up!

News, News, News
What an awesome day! Sold several more of our garden concrete statues. If you're waiting to buy yours, don't wait too long, they're flying out the door! Our new neighbor, Mackey, came by to visit with her friend Chereen (I apologize if I spelled this incorrectly).
Terri and Jan dropped by with a picture of what to expect in Terri's Envelope Surprise class next month; pretty cool!
Everyone had so much fun in Lisa's Summer Fun class tonight and are begging for more of the "Pure Innocence" stamps cards. We will hopefully be bringing in MFT's Pure Innocence line soon as well as MFT's awesome dies for cutting!
Tomorrow at 10:00 is Baker's Dozen with one opening and at 2:00 is the Dirty Dozen, with that class being full. If you're interested in the 10:00 class, stop down and take a chance that you're the first one there. You can call and see if anyone cancels at the last minute for the Dirty Dozen at two.

God Bless America!
Patriotic cards can be challenging to say the least. It's funny when you have an idea for a class and you have the stamps, but you just can't put the two together in your head. That's where my friend Marian comes in. I asked her to design this class and she did an awesome job! I actually thought I had her stumped and then she took off with it. This class is going to be offered at 12:30 and again at 6:30 on Flag Day! June 14th! If you don't normally send July 4th cards, think about sending them to someone who is or has served our country with a note of thanks. Sometimes, a thank you goes so much further than anything else we can say. Join Marian and myself on the 14th, you will make all four cards for $15.00. Call and sign up!
Tree For Me
Many of you have taken classes with me in the past using the Judith Stamps to build different images. Susan is offering "Tree For Me" as another fun class using Judith Stamps. These are fun, colorful and can be used for most occasions! If you're new to stamping or have been stamping for a long time, join her next week and learn the art of masking as well as having a ball making these three adorable cards! Call the shop and sign up right away!

Dressed for Success
You've seen the cards in the store and maybe even bought one. Now you have the chance to make them yourself. Wednesday, June 1, at both 12:30 and then again 6:30, join Susan and make four of these and get the materials to make four more at home. If you purchase paper or cardstock at the shop during class, you may stamp the image as many times as possible.
Susan and I played with this stamp several years ago and had a ball. The dress card is a fun card to make and always surprises you when it's done. The stamp is from Art Impressions. Call and sign up asap so that Susan can make sure she has enough for everyone!

Memorial Day
As the mother-in-law of a military member; as the wife of a veteran; as a military wife who moved around the world in support of her husband; I pause to remember all those who have given their life for our freedom. In today's world, almost everyone knows someone in or related to the military. Be sure and thank our military personnel and veterans, as well as their families, for all they give up for our freedom. Not only today but every time you get a chance.
