Dressed for Success

You've seen the cards in the store and maybe even bought one.  Now you have the chance to make them yourself.  Wednesday, June 1, at both 12:30 and then again 6:30, join Susan and make four of these and get the materials to make four more at home.  If you purchase paper or cardstock at the shop during class, you may stamp the image as many times as possible.

Susan and I played with this stamp several years ago and had a ball.  The dress card is a fun card to make and always surprises you when it's done.  The stamp is from Art Impressions.  Call and sign up asap so that Susan can make sure she has enough for everyone!

Memorial Day

As the mother-in-law of a military member; as the wife of a veteran; as a military wife who moved around the world in support of her husband; I pause to remember all those who have given their life for our freedom.  In today's world, almost everyone knows someone in or related to the military.  Be sure and thank our military personnel and veterans, as well as their families, for all they give up for our freedom.  Not only today but every time you get a chance.

Spring Fashion Show

I never need to get sick again!  A couple of months ago I had bronchitis and as I sat snuggled under my blanket in my recliner, many class ideas came to me.  OMgosh!  Here is the Spring Fashion Show Class which is scheduled for May 25th at 12:30 and 6:30.  All the prep work is done for you including cutting.  You will make 4 cards in this class with lots of ribbon, pins, bling, unusual cuts and much more.  These are really fun cards, and it makes me want to go shopping really bad!  Ya'll know what a "fashionista" I am, roflmao!  Call the shop and sign up today!

Watercolor 2

Whether you took Watercolor 1 or not, you won't want to miss Watercolor 2 with Susan.  Not only will you be stamping and painting these 4 cards, but you'll be watercoloring flowers and lace.  Fun techniques that we played with in Ink or Dye a couple of months ago!  LOVED the lace!  So much fun and absolutely beautiful!  Call and sign up today!

Trip to the Orient

We have gotten sooo many Asian stamps in the shop that Susan is offering her "Trip to the Orient" again.

This picture really doesn't do these cards justice.  You will be using Mitzuhiki (sp?) cords, metal coins, embossing and much more in this class!  You really don't want to miss out on this one!

STRETCH A SKETCH

A play on the name of the toy that I loved as a child! Etch-a-sketch. Stretch A Sketch is another way of being creative. So often we get in a rut and all our cards start looking the same. Every month I'm going to take a card sketch and design 5 cards using the same sketch. From elegant to cute. From sophisticated to fun. One sketch = Five different cards. This first month I used a very simple sketch. They will get more involved as we go along. So if you're in a creative funk and need some inspiration, than this is the class for you! Call and sign up today!

SYMPATHY CARDS

I always struggle making sympathy cards.  They seem to be a challenge to a lot of us according to most of you.  So I have decided to have a class where you will make 5 sympathy cards.  Hopefully you will never need all of these, but we all know that you probably will.  Join me on Wednesday the 11th at either 12:30 or 6:30 or on Saturday the 14th at 2:00 for the Sympathy Card class.  You must call the shop and sign up for any class you want to take.  We want to make sure we have enough room for everyone and that we have enough supplies.

IRIS FOLDING

If you've never tried this easy beautiful card making idea, then now is the time!  Susan has created 4 cards using this technique and you don't want to miss out.  You will make the cards and have the patterns to go home and make many more.  Join her next Tuesday at either 12:30 or 6:30.  Call and sign up while there is still room!

Spring Has Sprung

Join me next Friday at either 12:30 or 6:30 as we make 5 cards, all with a spring theme.  I'm really tired of the dreary weather and decided the best way to beat the winter blues is to welcome spring with open arms!  What better way than cards with flowers and butterflies.  So let's have fun making cards and hanging out!  Call me and sign up today!

Quilling with Christy

I am so excited to have Christy Rolf join our team of amazing teachers!  Christy has been teaching Quilling for a number of years and has graciously agreed to join us at C-Shore Creations, inc.  Next Thursday night is Quilling 1 at 6:30.  You will learn the basics of quilling including tension, shaping, etc.  We will be offering Quilling 2, Quilled Frames, and much, much more in the coming months.  You must have taken Quilling 1 in order to take the other classes.  The only way around this would be if you are a quiller already.  We will be offering Quilling 1 again next month, but don't miss out on the fun.  There are two spaces left for next Thursday, call me and sign up right away.  Below are samples of Quilling 2 and Quilled Frames to give you a sneak peek.

Bet Your Brass

So many of you missed out on the brass stencil class back in the fall that we are offering it again.  Come join Susan as she shows you some really cool ways to use those stencils that have been sitting in a drawer forever.  You'll make some beautiful cards, learn some new techniques, and have fun along the way.  What better way to spend your time!  Call and sign up today for this class which is next Wednesday at both 12:30 and 6:30!

Another Day of Rain! Take a class!

Personally, I love the rain.  It cools the air down and ya'll know how I am about the heat.  But at some point, I need to have my yard mowed.  As if that's not enough, today, in between thunderstorms, the AC guys are here to replace our air conditioner because after only 8 years, it has decided to die.  Builders, not all but at least ours, will put in the most cost effective for them, not the best quality for you.  I grew up in Florida where air conditioners lasted 15 years.  Oh, well, time to stamp!

Today is Baker's Dozen and it is a full class.  However, if you're out in the rain and want to stop by, come on down!  Tomorrow is "This Little Pigment".  Susan will have you make 5 cards using pigment inks in different ways.  I don't know about you, but I seem to leave my pigments on the shelf and I gravitate toward my dye inks.  Hopefully, this will show us ways to bring those pads off the shelf and give them new life!  The cards are pictured below in last weeks post and are gorgeous!!

Next Wednesday, Susan is revisiting your brass templates.  Another item that we buy 'cause we have to have them and then we never use them.  We had this class back in the fall and are revisiting it due to many requests.  Call and sign up so you don't miss out!

This Little Pigment

I am remiss in not posting this picture earlier, I apologize.  It seems time just gets away from me, and I'm not even stamping!!
Susan has created these beautiful cards for class next Wednesday using Pigment Ink Pads.  The samples have been hanging in the shop for the past month, so I'm sure you've seen them and pictures NEVER do the original justice.  Call and sign up immediately for this awesome class where you will make all five cards, learning cool techniques for those pigment ink pads we all have sitting around, for only $20.00!  You won't want to miss this one!
