Amazing three weeks!

Hard to believe the shop has been open for three weeks! It's been crazy busy and awesome seeing so many people, both old friends and new friends! We've got a full calendar over the next two months, so stop by and pick up a calendar. You don't want to miss out! The winners of the four stamping/scrapping suitcases full of goodies that were given away for the Grand Opening were Karla Dilling, Angela Anthony, Desiree Burton and Aary Byrum! Congratulations to each of you! For those that didn't receive a call from me, there will be many other times to enter contests.

I'm so excited because two of my instructors received their Copic Certification last Friday in Indianapolis. You'll have to keep an eye out for classes to be announced and copics to arrive in the shop!

And for more exciting news, C-Shore Creations, Inc.'s designer and teacher, Lisa Henke, is now one of the dirty dozen!!! That's right! She is a dirty girl on Split Coast Stampers! Congratulations, Lisa! Way to go!!!!

Ink or Dye Preview Event

Happy Easter!

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Because of you, my Grand Opening was a huge success! Over 125 people entered the drawing for one of the awesome prizes! They will be announced after they have been contacted. With Easter weekend, people are very busy with family and activities, so it will be at least Monday before anyone knows. There were duplicate entries of course, for those of you who came Friday and Saturday. My numbers do NOT include the duplicates.

I had a wonderful time with the Ink or Dye group Thursday night at the shop for a preview party. They were my guinea pigs and of course, very glad to be so. The picture will show how great they are! I love them all to death! I was able to work out a few glitches in the system so that Friday and Saturday everything ran smoothly. So many of you dropped by with gifts and cards and good wishes, I don't know where to begin to thank each of you. It was great to meet new people and to see people who I haven't seen in months. There will be new items going on the shelves everyday, so be sure and keep checking in so you don't miss out. The Mouse in the House class for Tuesday night is full, however, there is at least one opening Tuesday at 12:30p.m. New classes have already been added to the May calendar and the June calendar will be released soon!

For today... Easter Sunday...I think about what this day means to me. I thank my Lord for the sacrifice He made for me. I thank my Lord for each of you and what you mean to me. I am so blessed in my life!

3 Days!

It's almost here! The opening of C-Shore Creations. I'll open the doors at noon on Friday and can't wait to see each of you there. I've been busy doing inventory and am amazed at all the wonderful things that have been put in the store for consignment. There are some amazing deals.

There will be card kits in the shop also. These are made by local artists and are awesome! We will have crocheted flowers for your cards and scrapbook layouts made by a local artist. There will also be gorgeous paper flowers made by another local artist for your cards and layouts. If you're looking for a scrapbook layout, then you will find some by local artists also. Stamps, supplies, scrapbooking, mixed media supplies, kits, finished cards, the list goes on and on. I'm thrilled to be able to showcase the talent that is in our area. Check out the class samples that are in the shop and sign up today! Space is limited so you don't want to miss out! The instructors, alias C-Urchin, C-Horse, Crystal C's, and Angelfish are excited about teaching at the shop! They can't wait to meet each of you and I know you will be impressed by their classes. I've seen the samples and I would love to take them myself!

For tonight, I'm retiring early, as I need to be at the shop tomorrow to stock the shelves. So, until Friday!

11 Days and counting........

In eleven days, April 2nd, I will be opening my little shop in Bellevue! It's been crazy! Beth is so awesome, I can't wait to work with her! She is such a positive and upbeat person, the atmosphere is great!! I painted this week and my best friend, Susan made a beautiful skirt to wrap around the built in shelf, so that I have storage underneath. The city of Bellevue has been so welcoming! It's such a great community and I'm so excited to be part of it!

The shop will open at noon on Friday, April 2nd, and remain open through First Friday activities that night. The Grand Opening will continue on Saturday from 9-4! Stop by and register for a chance at winning one of four amazing prizes!!! No purchase necessary! There will be food and lots of great deals!! Stop by and just say HI! I can't wait to see you all!

The New Horn

DS is 21!!!

This picture is two years old, but isn't he the cutest thing? Yesterday, was my DS birthday. Hard to believe that he is 21 years old. He spent it with his best friend up in Indiana. He was home last weekend and the beginning of the week and it was so wonderful having him home! He just got a new trombone, and he'll kill me 'cause I don't remember the name, but he drove down to Alabama to buy it. It is beautiful!! He is so happy! He came into my life when he was ten. When he was 19 he asked me to adopt him because he said, I'm his mom! I was so proud last May when we went to court and made it final. The whole family was there and it was one of the greatest days in my life! I'm so proud of him and love him so much! Happy Birthday! Just think, on May 11th, you'll be one, since that's the anniversary of your adoption. LOL!
